The colors got a little washed out on this one, and the tarp shades the bright colors in the back, but you can see here all sorts of colorful cakes and jelled sweets for sale. A couple times we stopped by this stand and just picked out a couple of random snacks, and we were almost always pleased with our finds. Most of these sweets are based on rice, mashed into a sticky patty; rice flour, for a smoother texture; or agar-agar, to make a thicker-than-jello gelatine square that you can pick up and munch.
