At the MPO
We went to the Malaysian Philharmonic twice, and the first time Tom just wore a regular collared shirt. When we got there, they told him that he needed a jacket, so he had to wear a loaner all night. The next time we went he wore his batik shirt from Indonesia. Apparently this is considered formal enough, because if you're wearing a batik shirt you don't need a loaner jacket. Plus it's a cool shirt.
